Andusia sign RDF supply contract with Cartwrights

ANDUSIA is happy to announce the addition of a new RDF supply partner, Shropshire based, Cartwrights Waste Disposal Ltd.

Cartwrights Waste Disposal has specialised in the delivery of integrated waste management solutions and skip hire for over 35 years. Since 2013, the business has been a ‘Zero 2 Landfill’ company, recovering 12 types of waste that can be resued, with any waste that cannot be reused sent for incineration as RDF.

Andusia and Cartwrights have formed a 1-year partnership to supply 10,000 tonnes per annum of RDF to the EEW Knapsack facility in Germany. The waste will be recovered and used to create energy and electricity, therefore avoiding UK landfill.

John Cartwright, Director of Cartwrights Waste Disposal Services, comments: “We are delighted to have teamed up with Andusia. At Cartwrights we strive for Zero 2 Landfill by maximising our waste recycling and reuse efficiencies. When this isn’t possible sending waste for incineration, as RDF, to EfW plants, is the perfect solution and Andusia had the expertise to help this come to fruition.”

Chris May, Andusia Operations Director, added: “We are pleased to have joined forces with Cartwrights in this joint venture. Having not worked together before, I look forward to building up a great long-term relationship with a like-minded waste supplier that is committed to diverting waste away from UK landfill”.
