SHE’S a whizz behind the wheel – if you catch her drift! Meet Skip Chick Kirsty Harrison of CB Skips in Salisbury.

Greetings! Who do we have here?
I’m Kirsty Harrison, I’m 28 and I work at CB Skips, Salisbury, as Senior Administrator.

Pleased to meet you – now tell us more.
I’ve worked there for three years. I’m the face of CB Skips, providing exemplary customer service, dealing with the weighbridge and day-to-day phone calls. I deal with logistics, commanding the drivers with an iron fist. A ray of sunshine, but a rose with thorns.

We like your style. What do you like about your job?
The banter is great with all the guys on site. The customers as well; they are friendly and join in with the banter. Happy all round!

Surely there must be something that grinds your gears?
Having to make the tea when I don’t want one.

Solution: make really rotten tea and you’ll never be asked again. Sorted! Tell us about your most memorable day at work.
The day a double decker bus got stuck at the end of the drive due to being unsure if he could fit under the bridge. It blocked the entrance to the whole site and had to be pulled and pushed by a JCB loader. Once saved, he did a grand tour of the yard to the exit.

D’oh! Ever done anything completely nuts?
Attended Santa Pod Raceway USC one year with my fiancé and friends for a crazy weekend. While watching Michelle Westby drift in the main arena, I got picked to be her passenger. WOW! What an adrenalin rush that was! I’d love to learn to drift, but it’s an expensive hobby.

Sounds amazing. Let’s dim the lights – tell us about your ideal date night.
I’m happy with a meal at Prezzo and a bottle of wine with my amazing fiancé, Chris.

Bet Chris is relieved! Let’s sort you out with some superhero powers – what would you like?
Shapeshifting, so I can become a fly on the wall and listen in to conversations.

Sneaky! Imagine you’re a prize fighter, entering the ring. What’s your theme tune?
Sunshine on a Rainy Day, by Zoe.

Thanks, that’s going to be stuck in our heads all day now! What three little words sum you up?
Loud, happy, loveable.

Can we interest you in a fabulous holiday? Where would you love to go?
Italy – I’m a sucker for Italian food.

And who would you love to share a plate of pasta with?
David Attenborough – I absolutely love watching his nature programmes. I find him so calm and relaxing to listen to.

Good chat too – and super-famous. Who’s the most famous person you’ve met?
Will Mellor from Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.

Mingling with the stars is expensive – a Lottery win would be handy. What would you spend your winnings on?
I would buy my dream house and car, then savings for my children and family members. To also have the opportunity to learn drifting and do the hobby I have always wanted to do.

Sensible girl. Finally, let’s hear your best joke.
A teenager brings her new boyfriend home to meet her parents. They’re not very impressed, and later that night the mum says: “Dear, he doesn’t seem to be a very nice boy.” The daughter replies: “Oh please, mum! If he wasn’t nice, would he be doing 500 hours of community service?”

It’s a belter! All that remains is to say a huge thank you for being a superb Skip Chick of the Month!
