THE NWH Group, one of the UK’s leading recycling companies, has been appointed by WasteManaged to provide the waste management for Newcastle’s LooseFest22 – a music festival which takes place this weekend (30th and 31st July) and expects to welcome around 60,000 festival-goers.

The NWH Group will be providing 130 wheelie bins and four roll-on roll-off skips to The Town Moor location in Newcastle city centre with the final collection on Thursday 4thAugust.

Steve Travis, Procurement Director at WasteManaged, said: “As a Newcastle-based waste management company, we believe that The NWH Group is the ideal partner for this contract because it has the local resources and infrastructure to reliably deliver the requirements of an event of this scale. We have a long working relationship with NWH and can rely on the team to do a great job every time.”

The NWH Group will be collecting a range of materials from the festival, including dry mixed recycling (DMR), food, glass and general waste. All collections will be transported to NWH Group’s own Newcastle processing facility where it will be sorted and recycled into valuable new resources wherever possible.
