ASSEMBLY FESTIVAL has appointed The NWH Group, one of the UK’s leading recycling companies, to provide waste management for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The NWH Group will be providing 98 bins and six skips to a total of six city centre locations throughout the city during July, August and September.
Charlotte Crone at Assembly Festival, said: “We selected The NWH Group for this contract because it offers the smoothest running service. I know from previous experience that service delivery levels are strong, and we’ll have complete peace of mind that our waste is being dealt with professionally and responsibly.”
The NWH Group will be collecting a range of materials from the festival, including dry mixed recycling (DMR), food, glass and general waste. All collections will be transported to NWH Group’s own Leith processing facility where it will be sorted and recycled in to valuable new resources where ever possible.
