EUROPEAN resource management specialist, Totus Environmental, has further expanded its senior management team to support the continued growth and development of its operations in mainland Europe and the UK.
Bringing over 50 years’ combined experience in the sector, Clare Noble and Chris Barnes have been appointed to the positions of Commercial Director and Operations Director respectively.
Clare joins Totus from leading healthcare provider, PHS, where she has spent 30 years across senior commercial and operational roles. She will be responsible for Totus’ Alternative Fuels, Commodities and Hazardous Waste divisions, as well as its marketing and commercial teams.
Chris has spent over 28 years working in the hazardous waste sector with roles at Biffa, Tradebe and Veolia. He will oversee Totus’ Operations and Compliance divisions as well as driving the company’s digitisation strategy which will transform the way the business will operate.
Commenting on the new appointments, which represents the initial phase of a broader restructuring programme, Totus’ Managing Director Andy Jones said: “I’m delighted to welcome Chris and Clare to Totus as we enter an exciting phase for our business. We have witnessed a huge amount of change over the last 10 years and our success has been founded on an ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to market conditions.
“We will continue to strengthen our management team over the coming year as we cement our position as one of Europe’s leading resource managers. In doing so, we will be able to leverage the environmental and commercial opportunities presented by the emerging circular economy, decarbonisation and the drive to net zero.”
