ROAR B2B, the organisers of RWM (the UK’s leading recycling, resource and waste management event), have announced the launch of their inaugural online conference and exhibition – RWM Virtual, which will take place on 23-25th February 2021.
The UK event aims to virtually connect the thousands of visitors who were unable to attend RWM this year due to its postponement – bringing together buyers and suppliers, hosting leaders from across the industry and showcasing global expertise, products and solutions.
The conference programme will feature seminars from over 70 industry leaders covering a broad range of subjects, including collections & transport; machinery & equipment, circular economy, Energy from Waste, Health & Safety, Sustainable Business and Packaging. These, together with panel debates which explore challenges facing organisations across the industry and live demonstrations will bring the industry together in the first virtual event of its kind.
The event also provides a unique opportunity for delegates to explore a live exhibition, with over 70 suppliers showcasing their products and services on virtual exhibition booths.
The ROAR B2B team had made the difficult but necessary decision to postpone the live event earlier this year however through this virtual experience they are confident that their objective can still be achieved in providing an unrivalled trade event which caters for resource, waste
management, sustainability and circular economy professionals.
Using tried and tested software RWM Digital Expo will provide industry professionals with the opportunity to connect and forge relationships with UK and international suppliers, provide high calibre learning and development opportunities and give visitors the space to ask questions and
seek advice on business challenges. Available live or on-demand, the virtual platform provides a flexible and convenient way of accessing a full programme of conference-level content from the comfort and safety of the office or home.
Group Managing Director Bradley Maule-Finch said: “The team are very excited to announce the launch of RWM Virtual. I know, and appreciate, that people have been heavily exposed to virtual content in recent months, but we are confident that we can provide both the programme and networking opportunities to complement those of our physical event, allowing us to add real value for those involved.
“As with our live event, our commitment to bringing the industry together, showcasing groundbreaking developments, sharing expertise and helping organisations plan for the future is now more prevalent than ever. We hope that visitors will embrace these new developments and will want to continue to be a part of our community and join us in a new era of RWM.”
