O’DONOVAN Waste Disposal are delighted to announce that they have partnered with the London Irish Centre (LIC ) as part of their sponsorship of the entertainment for the St Patrick’s Festival in London.
The annual festival sees a weekend of celebrations across the capital to mark St Patrick’s Day and the best of Irish arts, culture, food and music will be available as Londoners and visitors join together to celebrate the significant contribution Irish people have made to the city.
The LIC was announced as the Programme Partner for this year’s festival and O’Donovan Waste has joined forces as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting the Irish community and will be the primary sponsor, helping bring the best in entertainment to the main stage.
The renowned Trafalgar Square stage is the focal point of the day following the parade and there will be a world-class line-up of Irish culture and music, in partnership with the London Irish Centre, compered by Derry Girls actor Siobhan McSweeney. There will be family concerts, storytelling, children’s films and youth performances, as well as community choirs, schools, dance troops and collectives. There will also be performances by Imelda May, KILA and a singalong finale.
Confirming the collaboration, Managing Director Jacqueline O’Donovan said: “As a London Irish company, we are extremely proud of our Irish roots and are thrilled to be supporting this event, promoting and celebrating Irish culture and heritage. With a fantastic program of entertainment planned, we are delighted to announce this partnership and look forward to a very successful event with lots of family fun and a great day out!”
