JACQUELINE O’Donovan was recently invited to take part in the line-up at the UK and Ireland Construction Forum to share her experience and expertise discussing how the construction supply chain can add value to the industry.
The highly anticipated and well attended event brought together developers, planners, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders that are pivotal to the construction industry in a bid to explore the best strategies and plans to safeguard and maximise opportunities for further expansion and growth both in Ireland and the UK.
The event, organised by Business Post Events, part of Business Post Media Group, was the first of its kind to take place in the UK and was opened by Ambassador Adrian O’Neill who spoke about climate change in relation to the built environment.
He also stressed the importance of the continued relationship between Ireland and the UK. The packed agenda focused on finding solutions to common challenges and developing opportunities and positive trends to ensure a brighter future in both countries.
Jacqueline commented: “I was honoured to be asked to take part in the inaugural forum and it was a very interesting and successful day hearing the latest issues facing the industry being discussed in depth from different professions within construction, as well as exploring opportunities for expansion.
“The construction sector in both the UK and Ireland has gone through a lot of uncertainty in recent times and it was very encouraging to be part of a collaborative event, sharing common challenges and successes and looking towards a more positive future.”
