A hat-trick of appointments and a familiar face at UNTHA UK

THREE new recruits have joined the ever-growing UNTHA UK team, as the industrial shredding specialist eyes further expansion in 2020.

Zoe Paskin (left in the image above) is a former finance manager who now takes on the position of accounts coordinator. With a wide breadth of book-keeping and accounting skills, she assumes a permanent position having impressed the management team following a three-month temporary role, during a period of significant company growth.

She is joined by local administrator Sarah Murray (centre in the image above) who is now the first point of contact for incoming enquiries. A new starter at the heart of head office operations, her role is to help ensure employee productivity, customer satisfaction and a general feeling of confidence among anyone who contacts the North Yorkshire HQ.

Projects coordinator Tony Gillham (right in the image above) completes the trio, and brings 30 years’ engineering and management experience, to ensure the carefully-planned delivery and commissioning of new and refurbished shredders, throughout the UK. Drawing on expertise from roles in the defence sector, world of public transport, and more recently Unilever, he will work closely with UNTHA’s field and service engineers from the point of an order confirmation.

Industry stalwart Chris Oldfield has also returned to UNTHA UK as commercial director. Drawing on 40 years’ waste and recycling experience – including 20 spent at the helm of this business – he is now responsible for supporting the development of the fast-paced company. His new position sees him source and negotiate best-value supplier agreements, all legal and insurance arrangements and grants to fuel UNTHA’s innovation.

Commenting on the hires, UNTHA UK’s managing director Marcus Brew said: “Having featured in the Digital Enterprise top 100 earlier this year, our intentions to innovate, progress and grow are clear. But we can’t do this with technology alone – great people are key to us maintaining our standards and hopefully surpassing expectations moving forward.

“I am excited to see these new faces thrive at UNTHA UK.”
