SCOTT Bros has invested £250,000 in upgrading its vehicle fleet as part of its long-term investment programme.
The leading Teesside haulage and plant hire business has taken delivery of two new road sweepers and a grab lorry which replace vehicles drawing to the end of their working life.
Scott Bros operate four market-leading Johnson road sweepers available on both short and long term hire from Leeds in the south to Edinburgh in the north.
The dual sweep vehicles are equipped with a super wash system, which can restore tarmac to its original state, a high-pressure lance that cleans debris from roads and driveways plus a wandering hose for cleaning out gullies.
The company currently operates a fleet of four grab lorries available for hire throughout the North East. They are ideal for the large-scale removal of waste spoil or can be loaded with a range of mainly recycled aggregates, which Scott Bros. offer for both domestic and industrial use up to a 16 ton pay loan limit.
Products include various grades of sand and aggregates, engineering clay, screened topsoil and rock salt.
Grab lorries offer a cost-effective way of removing or delivering large pay loads to and from construction sites quickly and efficiently, especially where access is limited.
Peter Scott, a director of Scott Bros, said: “We continue to make significant and on-going investments in both our machinery and vehicles to ensure this firm continues to innovate and grow its business.
“It’s vital in such a competitive market to keep up with the latest advances in vehicle technology. As a family-run company, these new additions to the fleet also underlines our commitment to providing customers with best possible service and equipment.”
