SPECIALIST construction services group, Toureen has taken delivery of the latest addition to its growing plant and vehicle fleet – a Scania XT410 8×4 rigid with Boughton CM hook loader equipment.
The vehicle has been carefully specified to a very high standard and will operate between the company’s base in Watford and some of its most complex project sites, such as Churchill’s iconic Old War Office Building in Westminster during its renovation.
Toureen’s Transport Manager, Mark Weller, who has over 20 years’ experience in the construction and transport industry and holds the firm’s O-licence, said: “Coming from a driving background and having many years’ knowledge of the Scania product, it was only right that Toureen Group’s founder, Denis Nolan, was made aware of the Scania brand, it’s reliability and operating benefits.
“As Toureen has significantly grown its fleet over the years, I have encouraged the group to invest in the Scania product and this latest purchase, with the Boughton hook loader gear, is a cracking combination.”
