FAREHAM Borough Council has purchased a ‘new’ Quality Used vehicle to meet increasing demand from new houses in the area. The vehicle, which costs a fraction of the price of the equivalent brand-new vehicle, will boost the authority’s fleet ahead of its vehicle replacement programme.
The 2013 26T 6×2 Dennis Elite, Dennis Olympus with Terberg OmniDel bin lift is in pristine condition and was provided by Gloucestershire-based Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) in a matter of weeks. The vehicle will help to meet increased demand from new houses and infrastructure across the borough.
RVS has a reputation for excellent service and high-quality vehicles, and offers the complete refuse vehicle solution to customers, including a substantial hire fleet, preventative maintenance service, repairs, breakdown service, parts, finance and vehicle transportation.
Spencer Law, Managing Director at RVS, said: “We are really pleased that Fareham are happy with their vehicle. We put all of our Quality Used vehicles through a stringent 72-point check to identify any areas that require replacement or repair. Once all defects have been corrected, the vehicles are repainted, serviced and MOT’d before being sent on to the customer with a warranty. When looked after properly these vehicles can offer many years of optimum service.”
