Lets Talk Recycling's Baby Skip

IT’S a… cheque!

Proud skip hire firm Let’s Talk Recycling Ltd (LTR Waste) is delighted to announce that it has made its first of many donations to the Nottingham and Derby Neonatal Units to the sum of £200.

Every time their aptly named “Baby Skip” is hired, £5 is reserved to be donated to the local neonatal units. In just a few weeks they have already managed to rent out their skips over 40 times since the company’s inception!

John Westray and his business partner Matthew Holmes conceived the idea of the Baby Skip when confronting the problems that conventional skips pose. They wanted an easy-to-load, low-sided design that allowed for walk-in access, perfect for small home renovations or garden landscaping projects. Alongside this, they wanted a design that helped to protect driveways, an aspect achieved with the use of one large roller at the rear helping to distribute the weight and minimise the risk of damage.

Furthermore, they decided that, as a company, they wanted to give something back to the community.

It was John’s wife Sally who came up with the idea of donating to the Nottingham and Derby Neonatal units. This was because most of their children and all of their eight grandchildren were welcomed into the world by the Nottingham Neonatal unit.

John and Matthew decided to go into business together and start their own skip hire and waste company that offers both traditional skips and the new low sided skips. These skips come in sizes 4, 6 and 8 yard all with wide easy load doors.

Let’s Talk Recycling Ltd began trading in February 2019. Managing Director John Westray has over 20 years of experience within the waste industry. During his career he has provided services to every sector of business and the general public. He has managed on the behalf of other waste companies, skip hire, roll-on-off services and commercial waste services, providing waste management services to all types of waste producer.
