This summer’s number-one waste and recycling event WASTE’18 – at the Warwickshire Event Centre (WEC) on July 5 – will be Skip Hire & Waste Magazine’s fifth annual instalment since 2014.
As July 2018 approaches, the industry leader Skip Hire & Waste Magazine will have a dual milestone to along the WASTE exhibition’s fifth chapter, as it will coincide with the magazine’s 150th edition.
Skip Hire & Waste Magazine started in mid-2005 under the conspicuous name ‘The Skip’, which was merely distributed to SME skip firms across England. Now, after 13 years, the magazine has a whole new face and is read by pretty much every waste recycling company across the UK and Ireland, with a growing readership beyond.
The team are ready to go and looking forward to providing a huge welcome, and a helping hand to all exhibitors and visitors alike at the WEC. The one-day show has been a year in the making and will be a great opportunity for exhibitor attendees to rub elbows with some of the sector’s biggest manufacturers not only in the UK, but across the globe.
The WEC has an unbeatable acoustic indoor area, which is matched only by its stunning outdoor capacity.
There will also be live demonstrations on the latest and greatest kit for the waste recycling sector, including Ladybird Crane Hire’s GAPO, which can lift full hook lift skips and move them around busy yards more safely and more cost efficiently than any other vehicle available. Another exhibitor Arbil Ltd & Crosby Europe will utilise the event to exhibit a new piece of kit, which Area Sales Manager at Crosby Group UK, Ashley Hall further explained.
She said: “Crosby Europe are excited to exhibit their Kuplex Skip Fittings in conjunction with Arbil Ltd.
“Kuplex skip fittings have been in the market since 1982 and are the key component in the skip industry.
“Designed, forged and tested in the UK, we pride ourselves on making the absolute best products we can, to give the end user absolute confidence with high quality grade eight chains manufactured in Europe.
“Arbil Ltd, as partner of choice, are best placed to take our skip fittings and chain to make fully bespoke skip chains to customer specification.
“Come and visit us on stand 33 to discuss your requirements.”
Also, attendees need to bring their A-game as the WASTE show will be hosting a ‘miniature golf’ course, with some incredible prizes for the putter with the least gutter.
