Sentinel Systems, one of the leading companies in commercial vehicle safety and camera solutions, is expanding its services in Scotland and has appointed a new sales manager to support the Scottish and North of England market.

The Cirencester-based company has appointed Scott Logan as Sales Manager for Scotland and the North in response to the increase in demand for vehicle and pedestrian protection in the north of the UK. Scott will be responsible for all company sales and service activity within the area and will be permanently based in the region to ensure that all customer activity is prioritised.

Responsible for Scotland and Northern England

Scott arrived at Sentinel after previously working as a parts specialist for Scania. In his new role, Scott is responsible for the development of new customer markets in Scotland and Northern England. Scott focuses on the winning of new customers, specification of products and solutions, identification of new product opportunities, provision of quotations, completion of contracts, the joint management of each project in conjunction with the operations staff and the ongoing management of customer relationships.

Sentinel Systems has been trading for more than 30 years and has seen the development of a number of life-saving vehicle safety systems, including its award-winning Bike Hotspot System and LED Cycle Sign designed to detect a cyclist within the blind spot of the vehicle and alerting the driver of the danger.

The company also offers a range of hazard detection and camera systems to provide additional assistance to commercial vehicle drivers in their day to day operations.
