With environmental care, quality and efficiency always being at the top of VEKA Recycling’s priority list, they begin 2017 with a new fleet of fuel efficient Volvo FH4 and MAN TGL 10.08 trucks.
Shane Lloyd, VEKA Recyclings Transport Coordinator, said: “The vehicles are vital to the service we provide our customers, and who depend on our reliable and regular collections and deliveries.
“Better fuel economy, reliable engineering, and a great cab for our drivers keep our vehicle fleet meeting the highest standards – and they look great too!”
“Linked to new Hireco 4.5m load strain XL trailers, with rear steer axles and de-mountable Manitou forklifts, our Volvo fleet helps us provide exceptional efficiency and customer service.
“The new livery, chosen by MD Tony Cattini, really stands out on the road,” added Commercial Director Simon Scholes. “We are very proud that for the first time we have a VEKA Compounds truck on the road, to help deliver our quality finished pellet and pulver to a busy extrusion market.”
VEKA Recycling Ltd has become the largest PVC-U window recycler in the UK by some margin. Growth in its Kent based pellet and pulver production has added to the success of the VEKA Recycling Group, Europe’s largest PVC-U window recycler.
