She’s classy, she’s arty, but don’t ask her to make chicken for dinner – who knows what you’ll get. Meet young Bryony Hallwood, our delightful Skip Chick.

Hello Bryony. Put down that truck, and tell us your age.

21 years young.

Well the modelling contract is in the post. Until it arrives, where do you work?

I work at M&M Waste Solutions in Cassington, Oxford.  I have worked here just over a year as an Accounts Apprentice.

They’re lucky to have you. Tell us what you love about your job.

I love it when we do group events, such as our Charity Bake sale or our Christmas decorating competition. They are always such a laugh, and you get to see people from the company we don’t normally see day to day.

We love getting stuck into a good iced bun here. Now what bits of the job could you live without?

Could really live without the dust and mud. It gets all over your shoes and car.

It’s a dirty business right enough. But full of laughs… yes?

Last Christmas the accounts office dressed up as elves, and my manager wore a hat that danced and sang. We were in fits when she danced with it on her head.

Sounds like it’s a wrench to tear yourself away, then go home at the end of the day. How do you survive away from the office?

I like watching the new movies at the cinema. I also enjoy meeting up with friends, and dabbling in my art book.

The perfect calming antidote to all that nasty dust and mud. Cast your mind back to growing up, what did you REALLY want to do?

I wanted to be an artist. I’ve always loved painting, and still do now.

We’re quite a dab hand with a painting by numbers kit here too. Now what kind of animal would you be?

I would be a bird, so I could fly south for the winter. Plus flying must be easier and faster than walking everywhere.

Absolutely – especially when someone is flying you off to your dream holiday destination. Where to ma’am?

Sounds a bit cliché, but I want to travel the world so I don’t really have one dream destination.

Anywhere you are is a dream destination, naturally! What about favourite food – what tickles those taste buds?

Sounds a bit odd, but I love Diet Cola Chicken with roasties. Very weird concept to get your head around, but once you try it you will love it.

You’re right. It is weird. We prefer whisky with our Diet Cola, but then we’re all different aren’t we? Skip Hunk time – who gets your vote?

Tom Hardy! He looks amazing in a suit, but still rough around the edges.

We hear he just loves chicken cooked in Diet Cola. So there’s every chance of a hot date. Where to?

I don’t care where he takes me, it’s Tom Hardy!

Give us a song that sums you up.

My family have always said Barbie Girl by Aqua. It was my favourite song growing up, and I can be a bit of a bimbo sometimes.

Thanks, that’ll be stuck in our heads all day now. Now tell us one fascinating fact about yourself.

I make the best brownies in the world!

Sweet! Finally Byrony, make us laugh.

A blind man walks into a bar. And a table… And a chair…

Arty, fun, and despite that funky chicken thing, definitely a top quality Skip Chick. Thanks Bryony – you’ve brightened up our day.
