The most anticipated RWM event for years is finally here. Following the EU referendum, a shake-up of government and ministers changing departments, there really hasn’t been a more important year to attend RWM.
Dynamic approaches to resource and waste management for a broad range of industry sectors will be presented at the international showcase event, RWM 2016 in partnership with CIWM, from 13 to 15 September at the Birmingham NEC.
Whether it’s sorting and shredding, trucks and sweepers, or recycling services and technology, there will be plenty to inspire and stimulate circular economy innovation across the show’s five specialist zones. With many exhibitors launching new products and services at the show – the event provides a complete industry overview and excellent insight into global resource management developments.
Showcasing solutions and technology concerned with sorting and separation, size reduction equipment, mobile plant machinery and more, the Machinery and Equipment zone will feature hundreds of specialists including Liebherr; Hammel International; and the Molson Group, a multi-franchise dealer sourcing a wide range of equipment including dump trucks, dozers, demolition rigs and wheeled loaders for major brands. Komptech will be displaying its machinery and systems for the mechanical and mechanical-biological treatment of solid waste and for the treatment of biomass as a renewable energy source.
A number of launches will take place in this sector including first-time exhibitor, Marubeni Komatsu revealing its new WA320-7 waste-spec wheel loader, complete with full factory-fitted waste specification extras, to the market. Tana Recycling Machinery UK, formed in 2015 by highly experienced professionals in recycling will be showcasing its cutting edge technology in solid waste management with state-of-the-art control and monitoring systems.
Sandhurst Ltd will be exhibiting their new range of attachments for the recycling industry including hydraulic magnets and screening buckets. Eggersman, which is setting new standards in specially developed plants, concepts and products will be unveiling its new range of recycling machinery.
The Handling and Logistics zone features ways to improve the transportation of large amounts of commercial or construction waste. Bespoke solutions will be on show from key exhibitors including DAF Trucks; Dennis Eagle; Faun Zoeller; Johnston Sweepers; Mercedes Benz Trucks; Scarab Sweepers; and Terberg Matec. New for 2016 is the Winter Maintenance Trail, for reliability and efficiency in extreme weather conditions. The Outside Ride and Drive area demonstrates live the benefits of trucks and heavy equipment.
