In a year where major national and international events such as Scotplant, Bauma in Munich, and Hillhead are filling the calendar, Blue Group has taken the strategic decision to opt out of this year’s RWM Show.
Last year proved very successful for the company as it posted its’ strongest ever results since the company’s inception twelve years ago. A 20% growth, compared with 2014, has been attributed to an intensive product development programme by key suppliers, a continuous recruitment programme for additional skilled and talented personnel, and a strong and pro-active after-sales product support team.
During 2015, Blue Group participated in numerous customer focused events, such as the Powerscreen World Dealer Conference, and Doppstadt’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Blue Group also hosted large groups of UK customer guests at these events, helping to develop even stronger relationships and introduce new product developments through working demonstrations. This quality face-to-face time had a positive impact, with sales being generated once customers had witnessed first-hand the build quality and productivity of the equipment.
Pat McGeary, Blue Group Chairman, commented: “RWM has always been an event where Blue has had a major presence, and we will certainly consider the show again for 2017. For this year however, we believe the events we have selected will help us engage more personally, and deliver a greater benefit to our customers.”
