JCB Wastemaster range is a favourite for Welsh recycling company

Recycling specialist Siteserv Recycling Limited has been using JCB machines for the past 10 years and currently has a fleet of 15, including a Teletruk, four Loadalls, six JS130s (13-tonne tracked excavators), two JCB 8085 (8-tonne excavators), a 3CX Sitemaster and the recently launched 457 Stage 4/Tier 4 Final Wastemaster wheeled loader.

The company, which has its head office in South Wales and also operates in North West England, employs 110 people and offers a one-stop-shop for recycling needs including paper sludge, paper, plastic and some hazardous waste.

Siteserv Recycling Limited uses its fleet of JCB machines for a wide variety of tasks at its transfer stations, on the family farm and on site for customers. Activities include handling and stockpiling bulk waste, sorting materials into different waste streams, loading lorries and hoppers and general maintenance around site.

As well as the versatility offered by its JCB machines and the Wastemaster range in particular, Siteserv Recycling Limited greatly values the customer service it receives from its JCB dealer, the LiveLink onboard telematics system, and in particular, the dedicated machine servicing and repair contracts.

Nigel England, Managing Director, Siteserv Recycling Limited said: “We’ve used a rival firm in the past, but I really trust and value the relationship I have with Dave Probert at Holt JCB. He’s given me the confidence to invest in the JCB brand and I’ve found the whole package is tough to beat. I get great service, tailored finance, my machines are well looked after and after a few years they still have great resale value.

“I also think the LiveLink system is great as you can’t measure what you can’t monitor. With LiveLink we can see machine idle time and cut it down. LiveLink can really improve business functionality and provides a lot of data.

“We bought the new 457 Wastemaster for a contract we’ve won in the Stockport area where we need to shift 1,500 tonnes of material a week. The new model seems to have good durability and has had a serious amount of changes and improvements over previous models. The comfort and visibility in the cab is superb. The toe-tip bucket is just what we need for the job. We’re planning to buy another two of these machines in the near future.”
