Shortlist announced for CIWM’s Sustainability & Resource Awards 2015


The shortlist has been announced for the Sustainability & Resource Awards, organised by CIWM on behalf of the industry. These awards recognise and reward innovation, achievement and best practice in the sustainable management of waste and resources, both within the waste sector and across a range of client sectors including construction and facilities management.

The 2015 shortlisted entries are:

Best Recycling Project: Junkbusters – University of Birmingham, Dennis Eagle, London Borough of Redbridge, Simply Cups, Techlan Ltd.

Best Use of Waste Hierarchy by Local Authority Award: Caerphilly County Borough Council, Cumbria County Council, Oxfordshire County Council, Vale of Glamorgan Local Authority
