Having purchased five new onsite vehicles, UKCM will further extend its reach around the country to new and existing customers, where its expert teams can perform repairs and refurbishments, coded welding, LOLER testing and many other essential repairs tailor-made to clients’ needs.
The self-sufficient rapid response service has been provided by UKCM for almost 20 years and the specialist vans can also visit those in need of fast onsite emergency repairs. The quick and easy turnaround is a cost-effective solution as the containers don’t need to be taken to UKCM’s refurbishment plant in Cheshire.
The team are able to refurbish a wide-range of waste and recycling containers as well as shipping containers, from sizes such as a 240 wheelie bin to a 40yard roll on off.
By utilising this dedicated service, waste companies and local authorities will help to reduce their carbon footprint which is vital for most CSR policies that are in place.
Julian and Emma Elston set up UKCM in 1998 and have since made a name for the company and themselves within the waste and recycling industry.
Julian, Managing Director at the company, said: “We supply many waste companies and local authorities, so it is important to provide them with a reliable yet fast service so that there are no knock-on effects within their structures.
“Over the past few years, we have seen a sudden increase in customers requiring onsite repairs and so it is important that we meet these needs.”
Julian adds, “We are continually investing in our operations and in the future of our company as a whole. By extending our fleet of mobile refurbishment vans, it will enable us to provide an unrivalled service for our customers whose satisfaction is paramount to us.”
