RubbleMaster turns Waste to profit for Dunmow

Dunmow Waste Management is a family-owned Business established in 1987, when all it consisted of was a single lorry and a handful of skips. 25 Years on and the company has evolved into a dynamic Waste Management company, specialising in offering different waste management solutions to an extensive range of customers.

Sam Malins Managing Director at Dunmow Waste Management explained that after having recently invested in a RubbleMaster RM70Go compact crusher from ECY Haulmark, they are able to continue their ongoing policy of achieving zero waste to landfill. Where previously there was very little, they could do with the general builder’s waste being delivered. With the RubbleMaster RM70Go, they are now able to produce a good quality type 6F available for general re-sale.

Dunmow Company Director Edward Barnes echoed that the RubbleMaster RM70Go was able to produce a re-saleable hard-core product where previously there was very little they could do with it but send to costly outlets.

Barnes insists the reason they were so impressed with the RubbleMaster over other crushers available on the market was the simplicity of the manufacture and the ease of use, “We took a demonstration of the machine from ECY Haulmark, processed the waste material we had stock piled in the yard and could not believe how such a compact machine could deal so well with the separation of the concrete and rebar, whilst producing a product we could resell.”

Dunmow are currently recycling on average 1000 tonnes of builders waste per day through the RubbleMaster RM70Go.

Operations Manager David Johnson insisted the RubbleMaster had become a great addition to the Dunmow setup,” It copes brilliantly with brick, concrete, ceramics and having the over band magnet fitted separates the rebar very efficiently into its own pile. It really produces a nice clean crushed material. Also because it’s tracked and so compact we have the ability to transport it and crush onsite when necessary.”
