Red Rhino (UK) Ltd the British family run business based in Grantham, Lincolnshire have introduced another new product to their ever increasing range of Mini Crushers with the launch of the new 7000 Plus.
This model builds on the success achieved with the 7000 Series using the well proven 700 x 400 jaw crusher with some excellent additional features including a combined feed hopper and vibrating grizzly feeder plus a new control system.
The new grizzly is designed to stratify the feed by removing fines on the grizzly before presenting the oversize to the jaw crusher. This simple but very effective design features a hydraulic motor bolted to the vibrating unit which is integrated into the feeder frame. The speed can be easily regulated by the operator to suit different material and crusher settings.
Removal of the fines prior to the crusher increases the plant output and the life of the jaw plates whilst reducing the fuel consumption of the plant.
The plant can be operated by wireless remote control or umbilical cord.
Red Rhino have seen a big increase in demand for their Mini Crushers due to the huge cost benefits of recycling waste materials. On site crushing can eliminate transport and tipping costs without the need for new raw material. This dramatically reduces operational cost as well the environmental damage and the carbon footprint for contractors.
The 7000 Plus weighs just 10 tonnes, is only 2.2m wide and 2.8m high so it can easily be towed to site. It is also small enough to be used on sites where much larger, more expensive crushers are unsuitable.
