This month I have been flabbergasted by the sight of an overloaded skip on the road where I live.
It easily contains enough rubbish to fill two skips and yet the builders seem to think it’s going to be picked up without anyone complaining. Who are they trying to kid?
Above is a photo of the skip in question. Builders even leant plasterboard up the side of the skip and scribbled ‘Free Plasterboard’ in felt tip pen on one of the boards! – Even though the skip had been subjected to three days of non-stop rain.
It’ll come as no surprise to tell you that no-one on the street took the builders up on their ‘bargain’ offer.
The skip led me to wonder about how many other ridiculously overloaded skips there must be up and down the country.
Have you come across any skips that are so massively overloaded you expect intrepid explorers to start circumnavigating or climbing them at any moment?
If you have, email your photos through to the usual email address or post them to The Skip, Baxall Business Centre, Adswood Road, Stockport, SK3 8LF.
Let’s try to find ‘Britain’s Most Overloaded Skip’…
